What does the price include?
The price includes insurance and Vat, unlimited mileage.
What driving licence do I need?
A full driving licence held for at least 2yrs. If held for only one year or less you may still hire a vehicle but on some occasions different rates may apply.
Will you deliver the vehicle for FREE?
Delivery is Free on a Hire of 2 to 3 days or more anywhere in Cornwall.
Delivery is Free on any hire (1day etc) to Newquay Airport. Train, Bus Station, Hotel, Campsite etc in the Newquay area.
Will you pick up the vehicle?
Yes.
If we dropped it off we’ll pick it up. We offer the facility to leave rentals at most Places in Cornwall for your convenience.
What about endorsements?
Please telephone or email us to discuss your points. Don’t worry though we all have them!!!
How can I pay?
We accept Credit or debt cards, Cheque with a guarantee card and even Cash.
Please note we don’t take VISA ELECTRON unless you pick up the vehicle.
Do I need to pay in advance?
No. You only pay at the beginning of the hire.
What are the age limits for the drivers?
Usually 21yrs to 70yrs. If you are over 70 or under 21 you can still hire a vehicle but the rates may vary. You need to be 25 to a 7/8 seater and 25yrs for certain models.
How many drivers can we have?
As many as you like usually £10.00 extra per driver/per week for the duration of the hire. (Min £10.00 charge).
Can I drive a rental vehicle on a Non UK Licence?
Yes but different terms may apply and we need to know in advance.
Do you require a Deposit?
Normally a £150.00 Deposit Excess on Low cost Budget cars.
Normally a £500.00 Deposit Excess on New and Nearly new models.

Can I pay a COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW) to delete my excess?
Yes. You can pay from £5.00 per day or £20.00 per week to delete your excess to £75.00 or £10.00 or £40.00 to delete your excess to zero.
Will I get my deposit back?
Your deposit will be refunded to you in full when you return the vehicle.
If any damage has occurred while the vehicle has been in your care, the cost of the repair will be deducted from your deposit and the remaining balance refunded to you.
If you choose to pay by credit or charge card we will not charge the deposit to your card unless the vehicle is returned damaged.
Can I take the vehicle abroad?
Some rental vehicles can be taken abroad subject to certain terms and conditions and extra charges.
What happens if the vehicle breaks down?
This is unlikely but in this event all vehicles are covered by AA breakdown cover whilst in your care.
